Frequently Asked Questions

What is CBD?

CBD is a naturally occurring, non-psychoactive compound found in the cannabis plant that exhibits numerous medicinal benefits. The two main ingredients of marijuana, Cannabidiol (CBD) and tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), belong to a class of compounds known as cannabinoids. Though CBD is just one of over 60 cannabinoids found in the cannabis plant, many scientific studies have indicated that CBD possesses the greatest therapeutic potential of all the cannabinoids. CBD is largely responsible for many of the health and wellness benefits of the cannabis plant.

CBD offers many of the same medicinal benefits as medicinal marijuana, but unlike THC based products, CBD does not cause users to feel “high.” This unique benefit of CBD allows you to think clearly and function fully throughout your day. Because it offers such a wide spectrum of potential medical benefits, many scientists consider CBD to be the most important of all cannabinoids.

How much CBD should I consume?

Depending on the person and the desired result, a dose of CBD can range from one milligram to hundreds of milligrams therefore there is no "one size fits all". We recommended starting with a small amount and gradually increase until you experience the desired result. All our products list a serving size as twenty-five milligrams of Pure CBD. Each one of our premium bottles of CBD Vape Oil recommends how many milliliters are required to reach twenty-five milligrams of CBD and come with a calibrated dropper with quarter milliliter increments for precise measurements. It is important for us to note that you cannot overdose on CBD. Even if taken in higher dosages, there are no known harmful side effects.

What are the Key Ingredients?

Cannabis contains more than 80 unique compounds called “cannabinoids.” Two of the most common found within the plant are THC and CBD (otherwise known as Cannabidiol). Of all the compounds, these two have received the most extensive scientific study.

Does CBD get you High?

The euphoria sometimes associated with cannabis is caused by the THC compound binding to CB1 nerve receptors in the brain. Since CBD is only able to bind to CB2, there is no way to become intoxicated from its use.

Is CBD From Hemp Legal in the US?

Despite being legal in a few states, marijuana continues to remain illegal under Federal law. Fortunately, CBD can be made from the mature stalks of the industrial hemp plants and can be legally imported into the United States under Federal Law. This allows consumers to obtain the CBD treatments they need without violating any Federal Laws.

Do I need a Medical Recommendation?

If the CBD products you require are made from CBD and manufactured from the mature stalk of industrial hemp plant and sourced from a country that allows hemp cultivation, you do not need a medical recommendation in any U.S. states to legally obtain them. If the products are manufactured from medicinal marijuana, or from the leaves and flowers of industrial hemp, however, you must reside in a state where medical marijuana and/or industrial hemp is legal, and you are required to have a medical recommendation.
